Memorial Day is a day dedicated to the service of men and women who have given their lives for our freedom and our country. It is also a time to remember loved ones who have passed away. The roots of Memorial Day observance goes back to 1865 and the end of the Civil Wear. Memorial Day is traditionally commemorated by attending a parade or visiting a cemetery to remember and honor our fallen service members.
There will be no school Monday, May 31, 2021 in honor of Memorial Day.
