Hornet Hive Update: Quarter 2 begins November 2, 2020 and ends on January 29, 2020. Please remind your child to be on the lookout for new teacher class invitations in their Google Classrooms and student e-mail accounts. Progress Reports will be printed and sent home on Friday, 11/6/2020. Parents also have access to the report cards on Parent Connect and Student Connect. Progress reports will not have to be signed and returned to school. 6th Grade parent conferences are from November 30th-December 11th . 7th/8th grade parent conferences as needed. Parent conferences may be hosted via Talking Points, ZOOM, Google, or Meet. Hornet Hive Update: Great news! Our ASES Virtual Program at E.O. Green JHS is now accepting applications! Sign up your child today since space is limited. The services ASES offers include homework support, social-emotional skill set presentations, physical movement activities, and other enrichment activities. One additional benefit is that students have an opportunity to improve their social skills. Hornet Hive Update: Students will be invited to participate in the Panorama Social and Emotional Learning Survey.. The purpose of the survey is to better support our students in the areas of social-emotional learning, school climate, and family engagement. The initial survey will be administered between November 2 and November 13. E.O. Green JHS is planning on administering the survey on Friday, November 6 in one of your child’s class(es) and should take no more than 30 minutes to complete. Our follow-up, Spring survey will be administered between April 19 and April 30. Hornet Hive Update: Attention 8th grade students who have Math 1st Quarter---your whiteboards are here and are ready for pickup! Please come to school on your correct day and time, say hi to your math teacher, and get your new whiteboard using the following schedule: Mrs. Goldstein's students, Monday, Sept 28, Period 1/2 between 2:30-2:45 pm, Period 3/4 between 2:45-3:00 pm, and Period 5/6 between 3:00-3:15 pm. Mrs. Gonzalez's students, Tuesday, Sept 29, Period 1/2 between 2:30-2:45 pm, Period 3/4 between 2:45-3:00 pm, and Period 5/6 between 3:00-3:15 pm. Line up outside in the front of our school at the gate near Mrs. Melgoza's office. Remember to wear a mask and maintain a safe social distance. Also, please keep your whiteboard in good condition!
